The Fremont Arts Council in Seattle produces local celebrative art events including
the Fremont Summer Solstice Parade, Trolloween, the Feast of the Winter Solstice,
and the May Day Maypole Dance.

Of course, one of the big draws of the parade is the naked bikers that always kick things off.

Besides the multitude delicious food booths and enchanting arts and crafts at the festival, this year’s Fremont Fair features five entertainment stages rocking with over 60 live diverse performances: from rock, reggae, salsa and Latin music, jazz, R & B, funk, gospel, bluegrass, folk, country and blues. Local DJ’s will also rock the festival streets. New this year is the all-teen stage featuring spoken word artists, musical performances on the Kids' Universe Stage, and a stage highlighting up-and-coming bands.
The fun and full-of-surprises Fremont Fair Solstice Parade & Pageant will begin at noon on Saturday, June 18th. That's when the dauntless painted naked cyclists come peddling down the streets with countless others in festive costumes to greet the rest.
During the festival weekend, thousands and thousands of people swarm in droves to gather together, eat, drink, perform, dance, meet, converse, ponder, parade, groove and have fun in the sun.
